Knife is solid, well made, and allows a full-handed grip. Great cost-benefit. Received incorrect color, Replacement was promptly sent.

The RAT knives in D2 are awesome for the price point. I own more expensive knives, but use the Ontario knives as my EDC. Tough and durable, and the scales have just the right grip.

    RAT knives consistently impress

This is not my first RAT I knife. I have previously owned one with the AUS8 steel and gave a similar one to a friend. Both of them were razor sharp, comfortable to hold, and snap open like nobody's business. This example with the D2 steel is no different. These are large for pocket knifes but the slim profile and rounded edges make it still fit nicely in a pocket. They fill your hand well. The spine of the knife is cut to a sharp 90 degrees so it can strike a ferro rod or process tinder, unlike knifes with a rounded spine. The 4 way clip is also a plus, although I usually don't change the position. They lock positively in the open position without any play. My only two complaints are that the handle scales are too slick, although the shape and size of the knife mostly make up for this. The scales are also not symmetrical, so it might not be particularly lefty friendly. This won't bother me or most people though, because most people are right handed.
