Ontario Rat 6
Of all the knives I've collected as an adult, this knife has by far the worst overall finish. The flat blade grind is uneven and has a visible hump on one side two thirds from the hilt. The spine has extremely coarse grind marks lengthwise, and is carelessly rounded in places. The bottom of the tang looks torch cut, and isn't ground at all. The edge is irregular and not sharp enough to cut paper. This knife may be made from premium steel, but it looks as bad as the cheapest Pakistani flea market knife. The handle scales are fine, though definitely no-frills. The sheath is a universal type, and has no retention except for the strap. It is a $5 flea market sheath. I will profile and sharpen this knife properly, then throw it in the trunk of my car and forget about it. Boo!
