Great blade. If you are looking for a reasonably priced, full tang knife then this is it. My only issue is the sharpness out of the box could be better and the holster isn't something I would use to carry it daily, but these are small gripes that any one can live with if their true concern is knife quality.

Basically put, this is a chunk of steel with a blade!! The RD6 has got to be the closest thing to perfection of a knife that is in production today! The knife is not too heavy and not too light to do most blade work. The micarta handles could be better but are better than most handles and have plenty of grip. The blade is great for a knife with 6 inches and will handle any work thrown at it with almost perfection. The knife sheath has a lot to be desired but one can be bought on the internet specifically for the RD6. The only knife that i would put against it would be an ESEE 6 and that would only be due to the ESEE’s sheath. It is such a great knife that Im considering buying another as a back-up.
