I have had the knife for about a week and have yet to use it. It looks and feel great. It fits in the sheath perfectly.

The wood handle material looks great and the Leather sheath is well made and the color is outstanding. The knife is very sharp and ready for use in the outdoors. I'm very happy with my purchase. The price is excellent.

Good knife for the cost. The leather sheath is worth the price

I've bought about 8 now. I must admit I've modified the handle/grip wood and metal on all with insets for fingers and thumb. I love Old Hickory, but this makes it more like a hunting knife.

    Old Hickory hunting knife

As with all Old Hickory knives the Hunter is a winner. These knives are by no means fancy, just dependable. I have used a set of Old Hickory steak knives for over 40 years and they still take a razor edge. Just remember that these knifes are carbon steel and when you wash them you must dry them immediately and not leave them on a drain board. Simple care and you will have a useful lifetime tool.

Knife is finished well and sharp. Sheath is good and fits well. Customer communication was horrible and needs to be improved.

The "Old Hickory Hunting Knife" is a perfect choice for my traditional archery hunting. It came exactly as described with a sharp edge.

Not only is this a hunting knife but should be considered as an all around camp knife.

    A great knife

I was pleased to discover that old hickory made hunting knives. Great steel! Keeps an edge. Last forever. Just like grandpa's old butcher knife. Simple and effective as a knife should be.
