A note from Ontario Knife about their Bayonets: "Ontario Knife Company is one of the few remaining American bayonet manufacturers and the sole source of the combat deployed OKC3S bayonet. Complementing our legacy of military issued bayonets, which include the M9 and the storied M7, Ontario Knife's tactical blades include the Air Warrior Program's ASEK survival knife, the Freedom Fighter, OKC's Kukri, and the Navy-issued Mark III."
1. The M9 bayonet appears to be a high quality piece of equipment 2. The M9 bayonet is made in the U.S.A. which is a big plus for me. 3. I own a Mossberg 590A1 XS 12 gauge shotgun that came equipped with a bayonet mount intended for the Ontario M9 Bayonet. I noted that the similar Mossberg 590A1 SPX 12 gauge shotgun is shipped by Mossberg already equipped with the M9 bayonet.
Rugged, durable, finished with care. It's good enough for battle, it's good enough for me.
Very satisfied. High quality item, was not disappointed
